I honestly wasn't going to post because it didn't look like there was alot of new activity here, but decided that maybe, that is what everyone alse thinks too. So anyway, here it goes.
I found this diet last year and my hubby and I both lost weight on it, but then life got in the way and we both slipped back into old habbits and gained it all back by the end of the year.
At the beginning of the year (2009) we decided that we would try it again since it was easy to follow and it is only 11 days at a time. Since beginning we have lost about 30 each. Doing the 11 day diet.
We just began the beyond calories diet to see how it works and are about 1/2 way through the first run of it. We just wanted to shake things up a bit and have more variety.
Has anyone else tried the Beyond Calories Diet? The 10 day one with 6 meals and is so how has it worked for you?
My hubby and I both have 100 + to loose and are hoping that this will be our "saving grace." Already we both feel lighter, since we don't have that heavy stuffed feeling all the time. Wish us luck! |

Updating my post a bit. Did not like the beyond calories. I don't think we did enough exercise while doing it. So we are back in the 11 day idiot proof diet.
Happy to announce that I have been able to loose 48 lb since we started at the beginning of the year and hubby has lost 54.
Weight loss has slowed a bit only loosing about 5-6 per 11 days. We will be walking more now to try and increase weight loss!

Congrats on the success. Keep us updated. I find that when people make there goals public that they tend to do better. |

Hey! Wow some activity here! Congrats on the success. I have about 90 pounds of post baby weight to lose. The baby is a year old, so I have been slacking a bit. However, I don't want to go though another summer this fat, so I'm thinking this may be the diet plan for me. I have been skeptical that it wouldn't work, but judging from you success it looks like it does.
How much weight did you lose per cycle on average? Did you take the required 3 days off? What did you eat on those days?
I hope you come back because I would love to know more about your idp experience! I'm planning to begin this diet soon, and I'll be checking back here and posting my results. |

It's June already! almost July! can't believe how time has flown by this year! Unfortunately I don't have any crazy ammounts of weight to report this time. This is do to vacationing and also not sticking to the diet like I should, but that is in the past now. Back on the diet and determined to stay strict now.
Took almost a month off and gained back like 10lb. I also ate whatever whenever I wanted and went a little crazy. I'm Now On day 2 of the diet and have already lost 3 lb of it!
So to answer some questions. Since Jan 1st 2009 I have been able to loose 60 lb. I do the 11 day diet with 3 days in between. On those three days I allow myself to have whatever I have been craving, but try to keep it undercontrol(portion wise.). If you eat to much you do gain back weight and then have to loose it again the next round. typically I will be about 3-4 lb heavier at the end of the three days. I believe that this is more water weight from carbs. It goes away within the first 2 days. I also don't count this in my weight loss.
At first we(hubby and I) lost 9+ per diet, but it has slowed a little to more like 5-6 lb per round or so. not too shabby if you ask me!
I have recomended this diet to family/clients and those who have tried it are having good resaults! It is very strict and you have to stay on it the whole time! I just plan on not eating out at all while on it just to make sure I'm doing well.
Have a new goal of at least 50 more lb by christmas and we will see what I will need to do then. Hope this helped! |

We took the summer off, but have recently started back up. To date I am now 60lb lighter than I was at the beginning of 09. Have set new goals for the end of the year. Super glad to be back to eating better. Will post more when I have more to say |
